I WANT TO TRAIN REMOTELY BUT I'M NOT SURE IT WILL SUIT ME. Remote coaching is an effective and available solution for many people interested in maintaining and developing their training routine. To practice remotely, you need good technical control of the basic exercises and self-discipline. Technical control of the basic exercises: to train with remote accompaniment, the trainees need to have good control of the basic exercises. This is the starting point that will allow them to gradually work towards the goals that will be set in the plan that will be built for them. If you have never trained with a personal trainer, or if you are not familiar with the technique of the basic exercises, I would recommend a few preliminary technique sessions in personal training. Commitment and self-discipline: to achieve the training goals, the trainees with remote support must comply with the amount of training they committed to at the beginning of the process. From my experience as a trainer who accompanies from a distance, I have had several cases where trainees stated that they could do 3 to 4 sessions a week and in practice, they can only stick to two. Such a statement, which in the end is not realized, may create in the trainee a feeling of frustration or disappointment - the feelings we do not want to introduce into our training routine. To avoid such situations, I recommend being realistic and honest with the coach. Open and real communication with the coach is one of the things that will help you achieve good results in a good atmosphere. Capacity for a high level of effort: a remote training routine requires the trainee to do the exercises in the highest quantity and quality, just as he would do if he had a personal trainer standing next to him. It's not easy at all, but if you have experience in gyms and training, I'm sure you won't give up on yourself. In this case, honesty and openness are required. HOW DOES IT ACTUALLY WORK? The first step in fitness training with remote accompaniment begins with an introductory conversation. The conversation me and the trainee talk about his/her employee and find out if there is a match for remote accompaniment, in aspects of technical control of the basic exercises. information and we will decide to set off - we will adjust expectations, decide what the training goals are and have realistic indicators for the near and long term. On this basis, I built a personal training program. I give the training plan to the trainee in a shared file that must be filled in after the training so that I can follow it remotely. A plan is ready, and probably a phone call for the whole plan to make sure everything is clear and understandable. A remotely supervised training program includes a weekly update according to the progress of the trainees and monitoring the technique by sending videos on WhatsApp. In my opinion, a good training program knows how to adapt itself to the trainee, to be flexible and open to change at any time, while allowing the program to always be open to changes and precision.
